Study description
Recruitment status: Open
Study phase: Phase 3
Simplified inclusion criteria:
• Newly diagnosed multiple myeloma
• Patients not planned for immediate stem cell transplantation (for medical reasons or patient choice)
• Good performance status (ECOG 0–2)
Simplified exclusion criteria:
• Patients assessed as very frail according to a specific medical scale
• Certain rare leukemia types and syndromes (e.g., plasma cell leukemia)
• Allergies or intolerance to study drugs
• Central nervous system involvement
