This study compares the efficacy and safety of a new drug (pirtobrutinib) with standard therapy (ibrutinib) in patients with CLL or SLL.

Study phase: Phase 3
Simplified inclusion criteria:
• Confirmed CLL or SLL requiring treatment
• No prior BTK inhibitor therapy
Simplified exclusion criteria:
• Serious heart disease
• Active serious infections (HIV, HBV, HCV, CMV)
• Pregnancy or breastfeeding
• Recent transplant or CAR‑T therapy (within 60 days)
